Privacy policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what ResaleChamp collects when you use our website, web app, mobile apps and Connector browser extension, what we do with it, and how you stay in control.

01

The short version

This is a plain summary. The full policy below is what applies.

  • What we do. ResaleChamp helps resellers identify items, list them on the marketplaces and sales channels they connect, keep stock in sync, and take other listings down when something sells.
  • What we collect. Your account details, the photos and item details you add, and the information we get from the marketplaces you connect, including sales and order details.
  • Your passwords. We never ask for or store your marketplace passwords, and we never see your ResaleChamp password.
  • One optional feature to read carefully. If you turn it on, for a marketplace you choose, we keep an encrypted copy of the sign-in session your browser holds so we can keep working while your computer is off. It is off by default, nobody here looks at it, and we delete it when you turn it off or after 30 days without a refresh. See section 5.
  • No selling, no ads. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use marketplace data for advertising.
  • AI. AI services help identify items and draft listings. They do not use your content to train their models, and you review every listing before it goes live.
  • Your control. You can disconnect a marketplace, turn features off, and delete your account and data whenever you like.

02

Who we are and what this policy covers

This policy is from IntelliCommerce Inc., which operates ResaleChamp ("we", "us" or "our"). It explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

It covers all of these (together, the "Services"):

  • Our website.
  • Our web app, including the installable version.
  • Our mobile apps for iOS and Android.
  • The ResaleChamp Connector, our Chrome browser extension.
  • Your emails and other messages to us.

Our two roles

  • We are the controller of your account information, of how you use the Services, and of what we need to run, secure and improve them.
  • We are a processor (or "service provider") for the content you and your team keep in your workspace, including buyer and order information. You decide what to do with it. We handle it only on your instructions, to provide the Services. See section 6.

You can reach us at team@resalechamp.com. Our details are in the contact section.

03

The information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name and email address. We use an authentication provider to sign you in. We never see or store your password. If you sign in with an account from another identity provider, we receive the name, email address and profile image that provider shares with us.
  • Business and organization details: your company name, the organization you belong to, the members and roles in it, and the warehouses, bins and source loads you set up.
  • Your content: product photos, barcode scans, item identifiers, grades, quantities, prices, manifests, labels, listing drafts and sales records.
  • Messages: what you send us when you ask for a demo or contact support, and your marketing choices.

Information from the marketplaces and sales channels you connect

You connect each marketplace or sales channel in one of two ways. For some, you approve our access on the platform's own page, or you give us keys you created there. We store that access encrypted. For others, the Connector works through the sign-in you already have in your own browser. See section 4.

Either way, we receive only what the features you use need: your listings, listing status, inventory levels, orders, and the name of the connected account. We never ask for or store your marketplace password.

Sale emails you forward to us

You can forward a marketplace's sale-notification emails to an address we give you. We read them to detect that something sold. They can include buyer details, such as a name, a shipping address and order information. We use them to record the sale, keep your stock right and take the item down elsewhere.

Buyer and order information

Names, shipping addresses and order details reach us from connected platforms and from forwarded emails. We handle them on your behalf, as described in section 6.

Information from the mobile apps

If you allow it, the mobile apps use your camera to scan barcodes and take item photos, and your photo library when you choose photos to add. If you allow push notifications, we store a device identifier so we can send them. You can change any of these permissions in your device settings at any time. The mobile apps do not collect your precise location, contacts or microphone audio, and they do not use your advertising ID.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services we collect technical and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, the pages and screens you use, and the dates and times of access. We also keep a log of changes made in your organization. We use this to keep the Services secure and running, and to understand how they are used.

Payment information

ResaleChamp is free during the beta, so we collect no payment details. When paid plans start, a payment processor will handle your payment details. We will never store full card numbers.

Sensitive information

We do not ask for health, biometric, ethnic or similar sensitive information, or your precise location. Please do not put it in your photos or notes. One optional feature, described in section 5, handles sign-in session data, which some privacy laws treat as sensitive.

04

The Connector browser extension

The Connector is our Chrome extension. It is for marketplaces and sales channels that have no official connection for sellers. It works through the sign-in you already have in your own browser, and it does only the jobs you ask for: listing, delisting, changing quantities, reading your sales, and importing your listings.

What it accesses and what it sends us

  • It acts only on the marketplaces you connect, and does nothing on a marketplace until you connect it and give access.
  • It does not read your browsing on other sites, and it does not collect your browsing history.
  • By default, your marketplace sign-in stays in your browser. It is not sent to us. The Connector sends us only the results of the work you ask for: whether you are signed in to each connected marketplace, the account name shown there, the identifiers and links of your listings, their status and quantities, the details of listings you ask it to import, and your sales (order reference, item, quantity, price and time).
  • The one exception is the optional feature in section 5, which you must turn on yourself.
  • You can stop the Connector at any time by unpairing it from your organization or by removing the extension from Chrome.

Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and Limited Use

Our use of information the Connector accesses adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain words:

  • We use that information only to provide and improve the features you see in the Connector and in ResaleChamp: listing, delisting, quantity changes, sales and import.
  • We transfer it only where it is needed to provide those features, to follow the law, to protect against fraud, abuse or security problems, or in a merger or sale of our business after you have given explicit consent.
  • We do not sell it. We do not use it or transfer it for personalized, re-targeted or interest-based advertising, or to data brokers or advertising platforms. We do not use it to decide creditworthiness or for lending.
  • Nobody at ResaleChamp reads it, unless you give explicit consent for specific data (for example when you ask support to look at a problem), it is needed to investigate abuse or a security issue, the law requires it, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
  • It is sent to us over an encrypted connection, and stored encrypted.

05

Optional: keep working while your computer is off

This is a feature you choose to turn on. It is off by default, and it is set per marketplace.

What it is

If you turn it on for a marketplace, the Connector sends us an encrypted copy of the sign-in session that marketplace issued to your browser. It is not your password. We never ask for your password and never see it.

Why we ask for it

Without it, taking down a sold listing waits for a computer that has the Connector open. With it, we can keep working when none of your computers with the Connector is available.

What we do with it

We use it only to:

  • take your listings down;
  • update quantities;
  • check for sales; and
  • check that the session still works.

We use it only while no computer with the Connector is available. We use it for nothing else.

Who can see it

Nobody at ResaleChamp looks at it. It is stored encrypted, only our automated systems can decrypt it, and only to do the work above. Every use is logged. The Limited Use commitments in section 4 apply to it.

Your consent and your control

Before anything is sent, we show you what will be sent and why, inside ResaleChamp, and ask for your explicit agreement. If you do not agree, nothing is sent and everything else works as normal. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

When we delete it

We delete the copy when any of these happens:

  • you turn the feature off, or turn auto-delist off for that marketplace;
  • you disconnect that marketplace;
  • you remove the computer that sent the copy from ResaleChamp;
  • the Connector finds you signed out of that marketplace on that computer; or
  • 30 days pass without a computer sending a fresh copy.

If the marketplace stops accepting the copy, we stop using it at once and ask you to open Chrome so the Connector can send a fresh one. A copy that no computer refreshes is deleted after the 30 days above.

Good to know

A marketplace's own rules decide what it allows. You are responsible for choosing whether to use this feature on your account. Our terms of use explain this further. Under California law, session data of this kind can count as sensitive personal information. We use it only for the purposes above.

06

Buyer and order information

When you sell, buyers' names, shipping addresses and order details come to us from connected platforms and from forwarded sale emails. Here is how we handle them.

  • We act on your behalf. You are the one who has the relationship with your buyer. We are your processor (or service provider). We handle this information only on your instructions.
  • Why we use it: to record sales, keep your stock right, and print labels. We do not contact buyers, market to them or use their information for advertising. We do not sell it.
  • Who else sees it:your organization's members, according to the roles you set, and the service providers that help us run the Services (see section 9).
  • How long: it stays with the sales record while your organization is active, so you can reconcile sales and handle returns. See section 11.

If you are a buyer

The seller decides what is done with your information. Please contact the seller first. If you write to us at team@resalechamp.com, we will help the seller respond to your request to see, correct or delete your information.

If you are a seller

You are responsible for having the right to use your buyers' information, and for telling them how you use it. We will help you answer a buyer's request to see, correct or delete their information. If you need a data processing agreement, ask us at team@resalechamp.com.

07

How we use information, and our legal bases

We use personal information only for the reasons below. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the right-hand column is the legal basis we rely on.

We do not use your information for purposes that do not fit these. If we want to use it for a new purpose, we will tell you first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

08

AI features and automated decisions

Some features use automated tools, including AI services provided by our cloud providers, to identify items from photos and barcodes, read labels, and draft listings.

  • We send those services the photos and item details you submit, only to produce the result for you.
  • To find matching products online, we may also send an item photo to an image search provider. Item photos should show the item, not people.
  • Our AI providers do not use your content to train their models.
  • Results are suggestions and can be wrong. You review a listing before it is published.
  • We do not make decisions about you that have a legal or similarly significant effect using only automated means.

09

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use marketplace data for advertising. We share information only like this:

  • Your organization. Other members can see the inventory, photos, scans and activity in your organization, according to the roles your administrators set.
  • Service providers. Companies that work for us under contract and only on our instructions: our cloud hosting provider, our authentication provider, AI services provided by our cloud providers, our email delivery provider, push notification services, barcode, product-data and image search providers, and, once paid plans start, our payment processor. We require them to protect your information to the same standard as this policy. A current list of our service providers is available on request at team@resalechamp.com.
  • The marketplaces and sales channels you connect. When you publish, update or end a listing, we send that content to the platform. The platform handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Business changes. If we are part of a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets, information may move to the new owner. We will tell you first, and the new owner must honor this policy. Connector data moves only after your explicit consent.
  • Legal reasons. Where the law, a court order or a valid government request requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of ResaleChamp, our users or others.

10

Where information is processed

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries. These countries may have different data protection laws from yours.

When we move personal information out of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we use approved safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission (and the UK addendum), or an adequacy decision where one exists. To ask for a copy of the safeguards that apply, contact team@resalechamp.com.

11

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, unless the law requires or allows us to keep it longer.

How long we keep each kind of information
InformationHow long we keep it
Account and organization informationWhile your account is active. After it is closed, we delete or anonymize it within 90 days.
Your content and sales records, including buyer and order detailsWhile your organization is active, or until you delete them. They are deleted or anonymized within 90 days after the organization is closed.
Marketplace access we store for platforms with an official connectionUntil you disconnect that marketplace or your account is closed.
The optional sign-in session copy (section 5)Deleted when you turn the feature off, disconnect that marketplace, remove the computer that sent it, or the Connector finds you signed out, and in any case after 30 days without a fresh copy.
Security and access logsFor a limited period, as long as we need them to keep the Services secure and prevent fraud.
Records we must keep by law, such as billing and tax records once paid plans startFor the period the law requires, then deleted.
BackupsRemoved on a rolling cycle. Deleted information leaves our backups within 90 days, and backups are kept isolated from further use until then.

12

How we protect your information

  • Industry-standard encryption protects information in transit and at rest.
  • The marketplace access we store, including any sign-in session copy you choose to send, is stored encrypted.
  • Each organization's data is kept separate from every other.
  • Only staff who need access to do their work can have it, and access is logged.

No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If a breach puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

13

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website

Our website does not use cookies or similar technologies to track you. It does not run analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as your IP address, the page you asked for and the time, to run and secure the site.

The web app and mobile apps

They use cookies, local storage and similar technologies that the product needs to work: to keep you signed in, to protect your account, and to remember your settings and let the app work offline. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever add non-essential ones, we will ask you first where the law requires it.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not track you across other sites, there is nothing for a browser signal such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control to switch off. We treat those signals as a request to keep it that way.

14

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • Disconnect any marketplace from ResaleChamp, and turn off the optional feature in section 5.
  • Remove the Connector from Chrome, or unpair it from your organization.
  • Change device permissions for the camera, photos and notifications in your device settings.
  • Opt out of marketing emails with the link in any email, or by writing to us.
  • Update your account detailsin the app's settings.
  • Delete your account and data. See section 17.

You can also ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or stop how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. If we use your information because you consented, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.

To make a request, email team@resalechamp.com from the address on your account. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We do not charge for requests, and we will not treat you differently for making one. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, or in a US state with a privacy law, see section 15 and section 16 for more.

15

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

The EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR and the Swiss data protection law give you these rights, and we honor them:

  • To access your personal data and get a copy.
  • To have inaccurate data corrected.
  • To have your data erased.
  • To restrict how we use your data.
  • To object to our use of your data that rests on our legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing.
  • To receive your data in a portable format.
  • To withdraw your consent at any time.

We will answer your request within one month. We may extend that by up to two months for complex requests, and we will tell you if we do.

Controller. IntelliCommerce Inc., which operates ResaleChamp, is the controller of your account data. Contact us at team@resalechamp.com or at the address in the contact section.

Legal bases, recipients, transfers and retention are in section 7, section 9, section 10 and section 11.

Providing your data. We need your account details to provide the Services. Without them, we cannot give you an account. Everything else you give us is up to you.

Complaints. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office. We would like the chance to help first, so please write to us.

Selling and sharing

In the last 12 months we have not sold personal information, and we have not shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.

Sensitive personal information

We use sensitive personal information only to provide the feature you asked for, and we do not use it to infer anything about you. So there is no separate "limit" choice to make.

Your rights

  • Know and access: what we collect, where it comes from, why, who gets it, and a copy of it.
  • Delete the information we collected from you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising and profiling that has legal effects. We do none of these.
  • No retaliation: we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

How to ask, and how we check it is you

Email team@resalechamp.com from the address on your account and tell us what you want. To protect you, we match the details in your request to your account, and we may ask for one more confirmation. We confirm receipt promptly and answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend that by up to 45 days and will tell you why.

An authorized agent can ask for you if they show us your written permission, and we may confirm it with you directly. If you are not happy with our answer, reply and ask for an appeal. We will answer within the time the law gives us. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general.

If you are a buyer whose information we hold for a seller, see section 6.

17

Delete your account and data

This section is for everyone with a ResaleChamp account, including people who use the iOS and Android apps. You can ask to delete your account and data from here, without opening or reinstalling the app.

How to ask

  1. Email team@resalechamp.com from the address on your account.
  2. Use the subject line "Delete my account", and mention ResaleChamp.
  3. If you cannot use that address any more, tell us and we will find another way to confirm it is you.

We confirm the request and finish within 30 days, except for what we explain below.

What we delete

  • Your profile: your name, email address and sign-in link, your preferences and your device notification identifier.
  • Your membership in any organization.
  • Marketplace access and any sign-in session copies that you set up and that are tied to your account.
  • Other personal information we hold about you, from our systems. We also ask our service providers to delete theirs.

If you ask us to close an organization you administer, we also delete everything in it: the inventory, photos, listings, labels, connections and sales records. We do that within 90 days.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Organization data(inventory, manifests, sales records) belongs to the organization. It stays until the organization's administrator closes it. It is not deleted when one member leaves.
  • Records the law requires us to keep, such as billing and tax records once paid plans start, for the period the law sets.
  • Limited security and fraud-prevention records, and what we need to settle a dispute, only as long as we need them.
  • Backups. Deleted information leaves our backups within 90 days, and is kept isolated from other use until then.

Before you go

  • Export your inventory and sales data from the app if you want a copy.
  • If you are the only administrator of an organization, tell us whether to close it or hand it over.
  • Listings that are already live on a marketplace stay there. End them on the marketplace if you want them gone, and remove our access in that marketplace's settings if you like.
  • If you only want to stop one thing, you do not need to delete everything. See section 14.

18

Marketplace account closures and deletion notices

We use the information we get from a marketplace or sales channel only to provide the Services to the seller who connected it. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

If a connected platform tells us that a user closed their account, or asks us to delete a user's data, we delete or anonymize the data we received from that platform about that user. We act on these notices promptly, within the time the platform requires, and we keep only what the law requires us to keep.

To ask us to remove data we received from a platform, email team@resalechamp.com.

Information from Google APIs. ResaleChamp's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

19

Children

The Services are for businesses and sellers, and are not directed to children. You must be at least 18 to use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and in particular not from children under 13, or under 16 where the law sets that age. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and close the account. If you think a child has given us information, please write to team@resalechamp.com.

20

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows which version is current. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app, on the website or by email before it takes effect. Changes to how the Connector or your marketplace data is used will not apply to you until you have been told and, where needed, agreed.

What changed in the version dated October 8, 2026

  • We rewrote the policy in plainer language and added a summary.
  • We added the optional feature that keeps an encrypted copy of a marketplace sign-in session so we can work while your computer is off (section 5). Earlier, the Connector never sent sign-in information to us. That is still true unless you turn this feature on.
  • We added sections on buyer and order information, marketplace deletion notices, and where information is processed.
  • We added a section on how to delete your account and data, and expanded the rights notices for the EEA, the UK and US states.
